Blueberry's Seed & Grain Mix

For those of you with tiny parrots, you know as well as we do that for what they lack in size they make up for ten-fold with their personality. Therefore, they deserve a seed mix that is designed to keep their bodies and minds in line with their mighty natures.

Ditch the fat laden sunflower seeds, fillers, and sugary additions for high-quality organic seeds and grains that are packed with magnesium, calcium, fiber, vitamin E, and much more!

The grains and seeds used in Blueberry's Seed Mix were chosen with budgies, lovebirds and parrotlets in mind, but can also work for other small parrots such as cockatiels.

We highly recommend that our seed mix (or any seed mix) only comprise of, at most, 20% of your bird's daily diet (with 10% being the ultimate goal for most small parrots).

1) Keep your seed mix in a cool, DRY place, like in a pantry. Keeping it dry is the #1 factor in how long your seed mix will last! Do not put them in the fridge - this can add moisture to them.

2) Your seed mix can be frozen if you intend to keep it for a longer period of time. Make sure the bag is unopened or transfer the seeds into an airtight container before freezing. 

3) We recommend you use your bag of seed mix within 3-4 months from purchase for best results. If you freeze them immediately, they can last for up to 1 year.

If you are a repeat purchaser of this product and get a bag that seems to be significantly less packed than prior purchases, please know, we did NOT change the amount of product you are receiving, but instead changed the size of the bags being used. This was due to the prior bags being TOO stuffed full and exploding during transit for many people. We hope these new bags will provide more room for movement in transit, and we appreciate your understanding!
