  1. Do not pay a one hour charge when booking a job
  2. Do not pay any hidden extras, parking/congestion charges, travelling time or admin.
  3. Do not use companies who claim to operate 24 hrs, but they do not carry out work in late evenings.
  4. Make sure to use a company where all tradespeople have been DBS checked and cleared
  5. Make sure you book with a company that have people answering 24 hours a day, not an automated system
  6. Do not use companies who franchise/outsource work allowing engineers to bring in illegal or unqualified workers.
  7. Make sure you are provided with the tradespersons name, photo and vehicle registration before arrival
  8. Make sure tradespeople are fully qualified, have photo ID & uniform and a liveried van
