WEFIX is a traditional British family business. Founded in 2024 by 3 generations of the Mullins family.
WEFIX was created in response to customer demand for a new and superior service after Charlie Mullins who, in 1979, founded what was to become London’s most successful plumbing company before selling it in 2021.
Our main aims:
1. A very personal service providing 100% customer satisfaction with the customer always coming first.
2. Only employing office staff or tradespeople with an excellent work ethic and who were the very best at their jobs.
3. All enquiries would be dealt with by real experienced people – no automated systems.
4. Quality control is our watchword in maintaining standards of workmanship, reliability and customer care.
5. Doing the job properly every time and all the time. Transparent and correctly priced.
6. All staff would be cleared with comprehensive employment and DBS security checks for our customer’s safety.
7. A supported apprentice program to ensure the next generation of tradespeople – now regrettably abandoned by Pimlico and resurrected by WEFIX.
8. Belief in our workmanship by extending warranties beyond that of our competitors.
9. We do not work from home.
10. Reviews – the only company with 100% genuine reviews ★★★★★
11. Our branding would reflect our image of quality, dependability and reliability and be applied to uniforms, livery and all items suitable for corporate branding.
12. WEFIX becoming a household name by reputation, quality of service, and people.
13. We do not re-employ
Scott Mullins, CEO, 35 years experience in the previous family business. Oversees and organises the day-to-day running of WEFIX.
Ashley Mullins, Managing Director, 16 years experience in the previous family business as a former apprentice plumber. Hands-on with the successful running of our 24 hour service.
Charlie Mullins OBE, Chairman, over 50 years experience from apprentice plumber to ‘One man and a van’ to the founder of London’s most successful plumbing company until sold in 2021.
They have been known to charge a customer £50,000 to carry out some work, £20,000 went to the engineer and to pay for some of the materials. Only £30,000 went to the company who still continue to keep the engineer working for them.
A cash deposit was taken for a bathroom installation and the work was never started. The customer contacted the police who stated the engineer had a long criminal record. The police investigation is still ongoing.
Some engineers are outsourcing work to illegal cheap foreign labour who haveno DBS clearance and are unqualified therefore putting customer security and their homes at risk.
Engineers are fraudulently obtaining overpriced material receipts.
Engineers are not giving a full breakdown of labour time and costs on invoices and combining with materials to inflate the invoice.
WEFIX will not work at any premises where this company is working. We condemn this practice and will not employ any tradesmen from this company.
