On Wednesday this week it’s WeFix London’s birthday. One year ago, plumber Josh Parker collected job ticket 000001 – a burst pipe at a hair salon that was being converted to stylish new coffee shop on Black Prince Road in Lambeth.
From that initial call out Unique Coffee became not just our first customer, but also the first example of how premier customer service, combined with high quality workmanship and professionalism turns a dripping tap or blocked toilet into a customer for life.
Since that first job Unique Coffee has called WeFix back in for three more full days’ work and now they are up and trading we get called in whenever a problem springs up. And while I’m a builders’ tea man (three sugars please!) the engineers who’ve worked at Unique rave about their coffee.
That job was 363 days ago and since then we have served thousands of new customers, including many who have returned to a Mullins family-run firm, after losing confidence in Pimlico Plumbers.
And the numbers are telling a similar story with WeFix on target for record sales in September, which would be the 6th straight monthly increase. An achievement that everyone at WeFix should be proud of, unlike Pimlico who I hear on the plumbers’ grapevine are £500k down on their September target.
So, it’s a very happy birthday to WeFix London from me, and as they say ‘many happy returns’ which is exactly the plan for year two of trading and beyond!
