SALES last week soared to their highest level since WEFIX began trading, and while nobody became a trillionaire our stock is rising just like Elon Musk’s space company.
And just like SpaceX customers are loving what we’re doing, especially our 24-hour, 7 days a week service. At Pimlico Plumbers they talk the talk, but their version of 24-hour service is paying another company to answer the phone after 10:30pm.
For us it’s all about the customer and when you have water pouring through the ceiling a call back next day doesn’t say ‘we care’ and it certainly doesn’t protect your home from thousands worth of damage.
It’s no wonder things are snowballing at WEFIX. We have engineers starting almost every day and, the more vans we have on the road, the more customers we reach, and the more engineers call us up for a job. It’s like we are a magnet drawing in customers and the very best tradespeople.
Since our old firm named after the central London suburb of Pimlico stopped their 24-hour cover, we’ve even offered to cover their out of hours work. So far they haven’t taken up our offer, so their customers who haven’t already moved to us will have to call us direct.
Another offer that has fallen on deaf ears is our bid to buy their building (NOT the company, just the bricks and mortar). And even though our offer to buy back the building that used to be ours before Pimlico was sold to its current American owners, hasn’t been snapped up, I think it’s only a matter of time before that deal gets done.
One reason for that confidence is not only is WEFIX growing by the day in terms of sales and personnel the opposite is true for Pimlico whose most recent filed accounts from 2024 show an almost 20% drop in revenue.
To be honest I’m not surprised at their drop in sales, and I think if we could see figures for 2026 things are probably even worse. Maybe getting close to half of what they were back in 2021 when the Americans took over.
Like I said, it’s only a matter of time before their building is too big and expensive for them, and when that day comes WEFIX will be in there like a butcher’s dog to snap up our rightful home.
