WEFIX London’s latest signing to our trade team is plumber Tracey Healy came to the industry later than most at the age of 31 after forays into physio therapy, HR and finance but looking back he says: “I always felt like something was missing when it came to job satisfaction!”
Her dad was a builder and always told her she should be a plumber. As a child she remembers fondly going to work with him as often as she could and always enjoyed learning about buildings.
“He always gave me the confidence to believe I could do any job,” she recalls.
“I wish I’d listened to him sooner as I adore my job, particularly bathrooms, turning the customers’ ideas into reality and creating beautiful bathrooms to be proud of.”
But proving it’s never too late to switch paths and aim for a career you really want Tracey joined the mostly school leaving age apprentices at here local college, and now with 13 years’ experience under her belt she is not just any old plumber, she’s a WEFIX London plumber.
